How do I set up a PayPal Personal Account?
Your new PayPal account will allow you to make quick and easy purchases on many commercial web sites.

You can either set up your account after you make your first purchase, or you can set up your account first.

You will need to enter the following info when you sign up:

• Name, address, phone number, and a valid email address. Your email address will be verified by PayPal and it will become your PayPal user ID.

• You will need to create a secure password for your use. It needs to be 8 characters long and it is a good idea to combine both letters and numbers. Your password should be retained in a safe place as it will always be required when you login to your personal PayPal account.

• Lastly, you will need to add a valid credit card to your account. In addition to the credit card number and expiration date, you will need to enter the 3-digit personal ID number located on the backside of your card in the signature strip area -- the signature strip has a 4-digit number followed by a 3-digit number (use the 3-digit number).
